Cuisine Unlimited, Inc. was founded by Maxine Turner in 1985 as a small deli and catering operation. During its first ten years, the business grew quickly, and Maxine's husband, Marvin, left his corporate job to help with the operations of the flourishing company. Cuisine Unlimited saw the need for a high-end kosher catering service and quickly filled this foodservice gap in Utah. In 1999, they opened three additional delis and built their own catering kitchens in a 10,000 square facility. From there, the company just continued to grow. Taking on becoming Jewish Wedding Catering experts, executing Bat Mitzvahs and Bar Mitzvahs with a flair, and creating a robust kosher menu (that people from across the country call in to order for family members and corporate catering!).
Maxine Turner continued to show her innovation in the catering world for more than 40 years as the founder and president of Cuisine Unlimited. A strong businesswoman who broke the glass ceiling time and time again, she left a legacy that will thrive long past her time with us. Maxine Turner paved the way for woman after woman to be in leadership roles, spent her time aiding in the community from teaching Pro Start classes to helping refugees get work, and never hesitated to help provide food for those in the service industry. Our business was formed by a strong woman, who is truly passionate about food and the joy it can bring people. She was a trailblazer in the catering industry! While her time with our company has come to an end so she can enjoy a well-earned retirement, it's good to know that her legacy of exceptional service and delectable foods has remained! Our amazing catering team are following in her footsteps to bring life into events through delicious food and drinks that never compromise on taste. We are excited on the new chapter of Cuisine with our new management team! Cuisine Unlimited welcomes back our General Manager, Adam Raddatz whose vast expertise and knowledge in logistics, management and coordination has allowed us to provide a flawless event production. He leads the team with with our longtime top rated Chef, the one and only Executive Chef, Steve Ulibarri. Our amazing Director of Catering and Event Design, Abby Radtke, who has worked her way up through the company, along with our other two Catering and Event Designers, Isabelle Caiozzo and Becki Pierce. They continue to shine in being expert event designers and culinary experts. Another amazing team member who has joined our team is Client Relations Manager, Nelson Villegas, whose expertise and charisma has helped us expand and reach new clientele and creating long lasting partnerships with vendors, venues, and clients! As involved members of the community, our employees have collaborated with Utah Open Lands to help preserve open spaces, are active members in a variety of community chambers, work with several registered charities such as Maggie's Gurls and Big Brothers Big Sisters. We have team members who are active participants in the Black Wedding & Events Professionals nonprofit and we are in the process of creating a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee that will take our staff trainings to the next level. In addition, our event team are board members on the LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce for the Greater Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area, Colors of Cancer, and Maggies Gurl's Foundation (co-events director!) just to name a few!
